To assist students who plan to attend East Central Community College for the fall 2015 semester, the college will be giving both the COMPASS and the Residual ACT tests prior to final registration, which is set for Friday, Aug. 14, 2015.

In addition to an application for admission and official high school/college transcripts, ECCC requires that students have ACT or COMPASS scores, which will be used for placement in English and mathematics courses.

East Central Community College will be giving the COMPASS math and English assessments at 8:30 a.m. or by appointment on Tuesday, Aug. 11; Wednesday, Aug. 12; and Friday, Aug. 14, in the Success Center located in the Burton Memorial Library on the Decatur campus.
